To deconstruct, reinterpret and give new life, achieving a fresh but self confident allure and being able to catch the eye till the last outfit of the show. These are the Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s for N 21 Spring Summer 2020 collection characteristics, first co-ed fashion show of the brand.
Starting from tailleurs and dresses with new romantic floral prints, fabrics get gradually thinner till they open, revealing a tinged but aware sensuality.
The bow gets away from its classic ‘bon ton’ concept: enriched with strass, it fuses with the dress becoming soft and sinously irregular drawing up flirtily a deep neckline and, sometimes, extending the ends of its ribbons and intersecting with fabric’s edges can turn itself in an ‘undressed’ dress.
Men’s collection tells us about a gentle but definite sensuality too: large under knees pants also for suits, fluid fabrics for shirt which gently caress skin, rebel arms getting free from sleeve’s constriction in sweaters and blazers.
This last feature creates unusual asymmetries in the outfits that we can find also in a double shirt suggestion, a sort of lepel, refining the last bold version of the most classical masculine garment.
