MFW SPRING SUMMER 2019
Arthur Arbesser
Self confident woman, able to dare but ironic, always with a fresh and at times sofisticated allure. This is the Arthur Arbesser woman for the next spring summer season. The focus goes on obviosly to artistic inspiration’s stamps: such a direct approach to art reveals a groundbreaking way to express the outfit and its composition. So ‘total body’ tight fitting onesies like a second skin come down on the catwalk with tunic and apron like dresses over them, this to outline an attractive play of volumes and proportions. The blazer, traditional and chastised, really struggles to contain the color explosion of dresses stamps, where the strictness of stripes and checks intersects with swirling colorful brushstrokes and stylised horse figure; this took inspiration, together with the large earings, from artistic work of Fausto Melotti. The only masculine presence on the catwalk confirms the glamorous contrast between the order of a losanges gilet and the artistic mess of brushstrokes in the pants.
